23.24 Athletic Fee - 1 sport - This fee is required for all students who participate in ONE district-sanctioned sports program. There is an additional fee for participation in a second ($150) and no fee for a third sport. These funds are collected by WLWV School District to offset the cost of coaches, athletic trainers, uniforms, tournament entry fees, officials, field/facilities management & maintenance, utilities, transportation, etc. The following club sports do not pay this fee, but do have their own fees payable directly to the clubs: Equestrian, , Skiing, Snowboarding and Rugby. If your student will be involved in athletics AND an activity, pay ONLY the athletic fee - do not pay both.
