This course examines the legal process and the administration of justice in American society. Students will be exposed to the criminal process from the police function through adjudication, sentencing, and corrections, as well as the social, moral, and political issues involved in the administration of justice in a free society. The minimum number of students needed is 15 with a max of 25. Additional CLC paperwork necessary for enrollment available in spring of 2017. Additional cost of textbook at CLC. Students will need to provide transportation to and from CLC. Registration deadline is March 24.
Pre-requisits: Minimum 17 on ACT Reading and English; Minimum 470 Reading and Writing SAT; Minimum 153 CLC's Accuplacer Assessment.
